Vision

To build the world's most connected ecosystem, empowering entrepreneurs, corporations, investors, universities, governments and innovators to create sustainable economic growth through collaboration, innovation, education and global market expansion.

In practice that means being the body a business turns to when it needs a credible counterpart in another market — not the largest network, but the one where an introduction is worth accepting.

Mission

To create a trusted global platform where businesses of every size can access knowledge, partnerships, investments, talent, technology and international opportunities, while contributing to innovation-driven economic development.

The Council does this through five pillars of activity, fifteen global councils, country chapters with published leadership, fifteen annual global programmes, an integrated digital platform, and membership assessed against published criteria.

Motto

Connect. Innovate. Empower. Expand.

Building a borderless ecosystem where business, education, innovation, investment and leadership come together to create global opportunities for all.

Values

Six working principles. Each is testable — you can check whether the Council is following it.

01

Selectivity that is published

An acceptance standard nobody can read is not a standard. Eligibility criteria, the review process and the categories we do not admit are all public.

02

Precision about authority

We state plainly what the Council can and cannot do. We do not imply accreditation, certification or statutory powers we do not hold.

03

Reciprocity

Senior members are recruited to contribute, not only to consume. Mentoring, panels and committee seats are obligations of standing, not perks.

04

Evidence over assertion

Figures are published only when verified. Testimonials are published only with written consent. Where a fact is not yet confirmed, the gap is visible.

05

Governance in public

Roles, terms of office, declared interests, the complaints route and the review process are all published.

06

Usefulness

A member should be able to name something membership produced. If a programme produces nothing in its term, it is wound up rather than quietly continued.
