What this programme is
CIBET business networking connects members through the member directory, sector forums, chapter events and introductions routed by the Secretariat. Every introduction carries the requester's stated purpose, so the recipient knows why they are being contacted.
How it works
- Members search the directory by country, city, industry, category, chapter and area of expertise.
- An introduction is requested through the Secretariat rather than sent cold. The request states who you are and what you are asking for.
- The recipient decides whether to accept. Contact details are never published without consent.
- Chapter events and sector forums give the same access in person.
What it is not
- It is not a lead list. Members are not contactable in bulk and the directory cannot be exported.
- It is not open networking. Access is limited to members, which is what makes an introduction worth accepting.
