International partnerships
Joint programmes with chambers, universities, associations, corporates and public bodies, set out in a written agreement.

What this programme is
CIBET works with other organisations on joint programmes, events, delegations, research and publications. Partnership is separate from membership: a partner does not need to be a member, and every arrangement is set out in writing covering scope, use of names and duration.
Forms partnership takes
- Joint events and conferences, delivered and branded together.
- Delegations, where a partner hosts or co-organises an inbound or outbound visit.
- Research and publications produced jointly and attributed to both.
- Programme delivery, where a partner contributes expertise to a Council programme.
How a partnership is agreed
- An initial conversation about what each side wants and can commit.
- A written agreement covering scope, responsibilities, use of names and logos, duration and exit.
- A named contact on each side, so the arrangement does not depend on goodwill alone.
- A review at the end of the first agreed period.
What members get out of it
Stated as outcomes rather than activities, because what matters is what changes.
A written arrangement that survives a change of personnel
