Groups can apply to establish a CIBET chapter in their country or city under International Chapter Membership. A chapter is chartered once it has a founding committee, an approved plan and a named lead.
Chartering is deliberately not quick. A chapter carries the Council's name in its market, so the requirements cover governance, the committee's standing, a first-year programme and a financial plan.

Applications are free to submit and are assessed by the Membership Committee. Fees are payable only if your application is approved.
Chambers, institutions, associations, corporates and public bodies can partner with the Council on programmes, events and delegations.
